A tow truck stopped by police teams at a routine checkpoint in Eskişehir revealed a major smuggling attempt. Teams inspecting the interior of the light commercial vehicle, which was made to appear faulty, discovered 480 handguns and numerous weapon parts hidden inside. Two individuals connected to the incident were taken into custody.

In Eskişehir, a large number of weapon parts were seized from a tow truck that was stopped by the police at a checkpoint, which was presented as a malfunctioning light commercial vehicle, and 2 people were taken into custody.

Teams from the Eskişehir Police Department's Smuggling and Organized Crime Prevention Branch stopped a tow truck at a checkpoint on the Ankara highway.

During the search of the tow truck, which was presented as a malfunctioning light commercial vehicle, a total of 480 handguns, 518 barrel ramps, 491 gun slides, 492 magazines, 488 cartridges, 479 bodies, 494 trigger mechanisms, 469 action springs, 490 action shafts, and 2891 various weapon parts were seized, packed in bags and sacks.

Two individuals, B.A. and C.T., were taken into custody in connection with the incident.
