A missile fragment fell in the Güneyşehir neighborhood of the Şahinbey district in Gaziantep. While gendarmerie teams were investigating the fallen missile fragments, a witness stated that the missile hit a construction machine and then fell onto the road. Fortunately, the construction machine was empty at that moment, preventing a disaster.
The war, which began with the attacks of the USA and Israel on Iran, continues with mutual moves, while a notable incident occurred in Gaziantep. Parts of a missile, which is believed to have been destroyed in the air, fell in the Güneyşehir neighborhood of the Şahinbey district of Gaziantep. There were no casualties or injuries in the incident.
FELL INTO A CONSTRUCTION SITE
It was learned that the missile parts fell into an empty land in a construction site in the neighborhood. Upon notification, gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. The teams, which took extensive security measures at the scene, covered the fallen parts with a tarpaulin and started an investigation.
"FIRST IT HIT A CONSTRUCTION MACHINE, THEN FELL ON THE ROAD"
A citizen who witnessed the incident said that the missile part first hit a construction machine and then fell to the ground. The witness stated, "The missile first hit the construction machine, then fell on the road. At that moment, there was no one in the construction machine. There was no big explosion, we only heard the sound of it falling."
A DISASTER WAS AVERTED
The fact that the construction machine was empty at that time prevented a possible disaster. Local residents stated that the gendarmerie teams arrived at the scene quickly and took security measures.
