DRIVERS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The accident occurred around 01:00 on the Antalya-Alanya D-400 highway near the Ulualan location of Manavgat district. The tour minibus with license plate 07 EC 3002, driven by E.İ., allegedly hit a sewage truck parked on the hard shoulder and Ahmet Küçükkök, who had gotten out to check the rear of the truck. At the same time, a car with license plate 07 BBR 696, driven by Ü.D., traveling in the same direction, ran over Ahmet Küçükkök, who had been thrown onto the road. Health, gendarmerie, and traffic police were dispatched to the area upon notification. Küçükkök was taken to Manavgat State Hospital after intervention by the medical team. Ahmet Küçükkök died. Following the accident, vehicle drivers E.İ. and Ü.D. were taken into custody.

Soner Tosun, the driver of the sewage truck and a friend, who was deeply saddened by the news of his death, stated that while going from Alanya to Antalya, a passing truck honked and flashed its lights, and said, "Because of this action by the truck driver, thinking there might be a problem, I pulled the sewage truck to the side of the road and stopped. Ahmet got out of the vehicle and checked around it. Just as he reached the rear, I heard a sound. When I got out, he was in a bad condition on the ground. Ahmet was going to Antalya in the morning to take his daughter to the YKS," he said.
