Ruhan Çalu (52), who lived alone on the 5th floor of a 5-story building in Kartal, was found dead in his home, covered in blood and stabbed. While Çalu's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue for examination, the police launched an investigation.
UNFORTUNATE WOMAN FOUND COVERED IN BLOOD
The incident occurred on Çamlıdağ Street in Esentepe Neighborhood. According to claims, neighbors who heard sounds from Ruhan Çalu's apartment reported it to the police. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Teams entering the apartment found Ruhan Çalu covered in blood. Medical teams' checks determined that Ruhan Çalu, who was stabbed in various places, had lost his life. After the crime scene investigation teams completed their examinations in the apartment, the deceased Çalu's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue.
GARBAGE CONTAINERS SEARCHED
Homicide bureau teams also conducted searches related to the murder in the surrounding garbage containers.
'THEY CUT HIS THROAT'
Emrullah Özdemir, a neighbor of Ruhan Çalu, said, "They cut the throat of our neighbor living on the 5th floor. We don't know who did it. Was it a family member? Or was it someone from outside? We don't know that either."
