The incident occurred in the village of Bakımlı in the Çanakçı district. According to the information obtained, 32-year-old Emre Gül, who was carrying sacks in a hazelnut grove, lost his balance and rolled down a cliff.
HE WAS THE FAMILY'S ONLY SON AND HAD GIVEN HIS KIDNEY TO HIS FATHER
Upon the notification of those around, 112 Emergency Health, UMKE, fire brigade, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. It was determined by the teams arriving at the scene that Gül had lost his life. Emre Gül's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution.
It was learned that Emre Gül was the family's only son and had recently donated one of his kidneys to his father.
