Access to the website established following the boycott call initiated by CHP leader Özel for certain brands, after the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, has been restricted. Users attempting to visit the site, which contains a list of the brands targeted for boycott, encountered the message "This site is not reachable."
After the arrest of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu and his transfer to Silivri Prison as part of the corruption investigation against the IMM, CHP leader Özgür Özel had called for a boycott of certain brands.
THE LIST OF BRANDS CALLED FOR BOYCOTT HAS BEEN PUBLISHED
Following Özel's statement, a website was established that listed the brands called for boycott, and supporters were directed to this site.
ACCESS RESTRICTION IMPOSED
The boycott list website created by the CHP was blocked by the decision of the Ankara 4th Criminal Court of Peace dated March 27, 2025, and numbered 2025/4129. Users attempting to access the site encountered the message "This site is not reachable," while the relevant decision was also posted on the BTK's website.
