Adnan Beker strongly reacted to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's remarks that 'he brought his militants to the CHP headquarters and had stones thrown.' Requesting an investigation into the allegations against him, Beker said, 'If the one who says "what business do you have there" is invalid, what business do you really have there? If someone causing a disturbance is identified by my side, I will resign from my parliamentary seat. If the opposite is proven, I invite him to resign.'
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was reinstated as Chairman of the CHP by a decision of absolute nullity, sparked a new political debate with the expressions he used during his Eid greeting program. Criticizing the presence of Adnan Beker at the CHP headquarters, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "What business does Adnan Beker's bus and militants have there?"
JET RESPONSE FROM ADNAN BEKER
Responding to Kılıçdaroğlu's statements via social media, Adnan Beker stated that he entered the CHP not through police intervention but with the applause of party members.
"NULLITY, WHAT BUSINESS DO YOU HAVE THERE?"
Beker said, "I did not enter the Republican People's Party through police intervention, tear gas, or batons. I participated in the group meeting with the applause and hopes of thousands of our party members. You ask me what business I have there, nullity, what business do you have there? I came to our Headquarters, along with only two advisors, to support our elected Chairman, Mr. Özgür Özel."
“I WILL RESIGN IF PROVEN”
Calling for an investigation into the allegations, Beker requested the Ministry of Interior and relevant institutions to conduct an inquiry. Announcing that he would resign from his parliamentary seat if any individual causing disorder is identified alongside him, Beker stated, "On this blessed Eid day, I leave those who slander me by saying 'he came with his militants and threw stones' to Allah. Let all relevant authorities, especially the Ministry of Interior, conduct the necessary investigation. If even the slightest third person causing disorder is identified beside me, I will resign from my parliamentary seat."
“LET HIM RESIGN FROM THAT SEAT”
In his statement, Beker argued that if the allegations cannot be proven, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu should step down from his position, saying, "If such a person cannot be identified and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu cannot prove his claim, I invite him to immediately resign from that seat he occupies through nullity due to this slander."
WHAT DID KILIÇDAROĞLU SAY?
While speaking about the evacuation carried out by police intervention at the CHP headquarters, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu had said, "What business does Adnan Beker's bus and militants have there? Most of them are not party members. Is it to throw stones, to cause incidents, to harm the CHP? How do they trust them, how do they bring them into the party? What business does a person with moral issues have at the CHP headquarters? What business does someone who said 'I did not vote in the presidential election' have there? If you follow their mindset, this is the picture that emerges."
