The lifeless body of Gülsima Yıldız, a mother of 9 children who fell into a stream while crossing a wooden bridge in Muş and was swept away by the current, was found after 8 days of search efforts.

On May 20, Gülsima Yıldız fell into a stream while crossing a wooden bridge in the village of Cevizlidere, affiliated with the district center, and was swept away by the current. Upon notification, teams dispatched to the region launched a search operation for Gülsima Yıldız.

SEARCHED OVER A 60-KILOMETER AREA

A total of 150 personnel from AFAD, the Muş and Van Provincial Gendarmerie Command underwater search and rescue teams, and the Special Provincial Administration participated in the efforts. One unmanned aerial vehicle and 6 drones were used in the search operations carried out over an area of approximately 60 kilometers.
