Julia Ramona Jesch, who underwent a liver transplant in Germany, passed away after spending 10 days in intensive care following a cosmetic surgery in Antalya, despite not receiving approval from her doctors. Her family has filed a complaint against the hospital and the doctors.

Julia Ramona Jesch, 41, who came to Antalya for body lifting surgery despite her doctors' warnings that she "could not undergo surgery" due to having a liver transplant in Germany in 2017, passed away after spending 10 days in intensive care following the operation. Her family has filed complaints against both the hospital and the doctor who performed the surgery.

Julia Ramona Jesch, who arrived in Antalya on Tuesday, November 4, from Siegen, Germany, underwent liposuction and body lifting surgery on her abdomen, armpits, and hips on November 5 at a private hospital, performed by Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeon Op. Dr. B.Ç.

ADMITTED TO INTENSIVE CARE

Jesch was admitted to the intensive care unit about an hour after the surgery due to bleeding. The German woman could not be saved despite all interventions on Saturday, November 15, at 03:45, after a critical 10-day period.

DOCTORS DID NOT ALLOW COSMETIC SURGERY!

It was learned that Jesch had previously undergone a liver transplant in 2017, and therefore, doctors in Germany did not approve her for cosmetic surgery. Jesch's lifeless body was sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy procedures.

The mother, brother, and sister of the unfortunate woman, who came to Antalya to receive her body, reacted to the surgery being performed despite the knowledge of the young woman's transplant history, and they filed complaints against both the institution and the doctor who performed the surgery.

SHE HAS A 12-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER

Her sister, Karolina Joanna Urbanik Jesch, described their experience with the following words:

"My sister came to Antalya for a cosmetic procedure. The doctors were aware that she had previously undergone a liver transplant. This surgery had been rejected in Germany; no doctor in Germany approved her for this procedure. Here, she found someone willing to operate on her. Unfortunately, we cannot take her home because she has passed away. She has a 12-year-old daughter."

The family's lawyers stated, "They filed complaints against those responsible, those who facilitated this, the doctor who performed the surgery, and the hospital. An autopsy was requested, and it was conducted."
