Images from the capital Tehran following the airstrikes launched by the US and Israel against Iran revealed the scale of the attack. After consecutive bombings, significant destruction occurred in some areas, and a massive crater formed at the targeted site.
After the United States and Israel launched air operations against Iran, a series of explosions occurred in Tehran. It was reported that the attacks particularly targeted strategic points, and the sounds of explosions were heard from different areas of the city.
TEHRAN AFTER THE ATTACK
In the footage published by the Mehr News Agency, significant destruction was seen in the targeted area. A massive crater formed at one point highlighted the intensity of the attack. Damage was also reported in surrounding buildings, with debris scattered over a wide area.
3 EXPLOSIONS IN THE HEART OF TEHRAN
The United States and Israel launched an attack against Iran. Israeli media reported that the presidential palace and government complex of Iran were targeted, and assassination attempts were made on some important figures' homes. According to Iran's official news agency IRNA, three explosion sounds echoed in the center of Tehran. Several missiles hit University Street and the Cumhuriyet area. In the following minutes, two more explosions occurred in the north of Tehran.
IRAN: JOINT ATTACK BY ISRAEL AND THE US
Iran announced that the attacks were carried out in collaboration with Israel and the US, targeting Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, and Kermanshah. It was stated that Iran's religious leader Khamenei was not in Tehran and had been taken to a safe location. Iranian media reported that Iranian President Masoud Bezeşkiyan was also unharmed in the US attack.
RETALIATORY ATTACK FROM IRAN
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards announced that they had launched a large-scale missile and drone attack "against the occupied territories" in response to the US-Israel attacks. The Israeli army also confirmed these attacks.
"ATTACKS WILL LAST AT LEAST 4 DAYS"
An Israeli official suggested that the attacks would last at least 4 days. According to the official, the attacks carried out in cooperation with the US targeted locations and military facilities belonging to the Iranian regime.
