Following the increase in diesel, there is now an expectation of a price hike for gasoline. According to industry sources, the price of gasoline per liter is expected to rise by 1 lira and 7 kurus as of midnight.
The exchange rate and the volatility in global markets continue to affect fuel prices. Following the 1 lira 10 kuruş increase in diesel yesterday, a new price hike for gasoline has also come to the agenda.
IT WILL BE REFLECTED AT THE PUMP AT MIDNIGHT
According to the information reported by journalist Olcay Aydilek, a price increase of 1 lira 7 kuruş is expected for the liter price of gasoline, effective as of midnight tonight.
If the anticipated increase is reflected at the pump, the liter price of gasoline in Istanbul will approach the 65 TL threshold. In Ankara and Izmir, prices are expected to reach around 66 TL.
