Following the incident, AK Party İzmir Deputy Ceyda Bölünmez Çankırı said to CHP Deputy Mahmut Tanal, who was injured and had a bleeding nose, "You must have forgotten your pain. Know your place!" While the echoes of the physical tension in the Parliament continued, a verbal duel took place this time. A heated debate erupted between Çankırı and Tanal at the podium.
Last week, tensions peaked in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. A debate that started before the oath-taking ceremony of Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi and Justice Minister Akın Gürlek quickly turned into a scuffle, and the Assembly hall suddenly resembled a battlefield.

During the fight, it was observed that the deputies physically intervened with each other. At the center of the tension were CHP Şanlıurfa Deputy Mahmut Tanal and AK Party Ankara Deputy Osman Gökçek. In the photos shared from those moments, it was seen that Tanal's nose was bleeding.
