In a survey conducted by HBS Research with 3,000 people from February 1 to 5, 2026, the CHP ranked first with 32.6%, while the AK Party came in second with 32.1%. The MHP's vote rate was measured at 5.2%. MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli had previously stated about the polling companies that showed them below the threshold, "All the guided polling companies that line up to undermine democracy and the will of the people are nothing but doormats under our feet."
The results of the general election survey conducted by HBS Research with 3,000 participants between February 1-5, 2026, have been shared with the public. The survey revealed that the difference between CHP and AKP is quite low.
AK PARTY AND CHP NECK AND NECK
According to the research, CHP ranks first with 32.6%, while AK Party is in second place with 32.1%. The difference between the two parties was measured at 0.5 points.
MHP'S VOTE RATE AT 5.2
DEM Party ranked third with a vote rate of 8.6%. İYİ Party was measured at 5.7%, Key Party at 5.4%, and MHP at 5.2%. The vote rate of the Victory Party was recorded at 3.3%, YRP at 3.2%, and TİP at 1.4%. The total vote rate of other parties was 2.5%.
BAHÇELİ HAD CRITICIZED POLLING COMPANIES
In his previous statements, MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli expressed that polling companies lack reliability, stating, "We look at the pure people of our homeland and nation, not at the polls. All the guided polling companies that line up to undermine democracy and the will of the nation are nothing but doormats under our feet. We were not born with polls, so why should we die without them? The real poll will be conducted by the nation."
