The response to Liverpool's statements came from Galatasaray's general secretary Eray Yazgan. Eray Yazgan stated that the English team was trying to divert the issue in a different direction, saying, "While Liverpool hasn't even apologized, we see that they are trying to divert the issue by bringing up imaginary claims they allege were made on social media against their player Konate."
SNEIJDER TO LIVERPOOL: 'ACCOUNT FOR THIS'
Galatasaray's former star Wesley Sneijder also joined the discussion between the two clubs. Sneijder, reacting to Liverpool, said, "Galatasaray is the last club in the world to be involved in racism. Liverpool should stop becoming even uglier and account for Noa Lang's severed finger. This level of insolence is too much. Don't try to come out on top."
