With the Supreme Military Council (YAŞ) decision published in the Official Gazette, General Rafet Dalkıran was appointed as the Commander of the Air Force, while 25 generals and admirals were promoted to the next rank, and 69 colonels were promoted to the ranks of general and admiral.
The decisions of the Supreme Military Council (SMC) were published in the Official Gazette.
According to the appointment decisions published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, effective as of August 30, Commander of the Combat Air Force, General Rafet Dalkıran, was appointed as the Commander of the Air Force.
ARMY COMMAND
Additionally, in the Army Command, Major Generals Burhan Aktaş, Ertan İnaltekin, and Alparslan Kılınç were promoted to Lieutenant General, and Brigadier Generals Şükrü Bilir, Mustafa Büyükköroğlu, İsmail Özcan, Şener Kopal, Ahmet Aşık, Bülent Tanrıverdi, Mehmet Açık, Mustafa Yeter, Coşkun Çelik, Ömer Şahin Selvi, Yüksel Kolcu, İsmail Analı, and Hakan Durmazpınar were promoted to Major General.
In the Army Command, 40 colonels were promoted to Brigadier General. Accordingly, Colonels Hasan Atasoy, Ali Karakuş, Murat Temur, Mehmet Ali Yağız, Mehmet Savcı, Mehmet Serhat Gündoğan, Halil Özçay, Hakan Kutlu, Günal Budak, Mustafa Volkan Esen, Cumhur Pıçakcı, Uğur Özyurt, Hakan Kan, Ayhan Ocak, Sedat Öztürk, Kürşad Cihan Erce, Çetin Kaya, Vedat Er, İsmail Cenkeri Ersöz, Enver Kılınç, Ahmet Aydın, Fuat Dönmez, Kenan Koç, Haşim Bildiş, Ersin Yaman, Şengezer Şimşek, Hüseyin Erhan Öztek, Orhan Demirel, Kubilay Karadeniz, Armağan Özel, Mustafa Cem Tokeşer, Sefa Koruk, Alper Önem Civelek, Metin Durmaz, Barış Karaca, Cebrail Kemal Dokumacı, Ahmet Durgut, Ferit Yüksel, and Metin Çekmegül were promoted to Brigadier General.
NAVAL FORCES COMMAND
The term of office of Naval Forces Commander Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu was extended by one year.
In the Naval Forces Command, Rear Admirals Ramazan Özoğul and Erhan Aydın were promoted to Vice Admiral, and Rear Admirals (lower half) Erhan Akbayrak, Yücel Darcan, Eren Günay, and Kenan Kaan Türkkan were promoted to Rear Admiral.
In the Naval Forces Command, 11 colonels were promoted to Rear Admiral (lower half). Accordingly, Colonels Çağlar Mert Erk, Burak Köpük, Göksel Ercenik, Burak Türköz, Adil Tüfekçi, Güvenç Uysal, Volkan Kıvan, Emre Ahmet İnal, Arif Özay, Umut Turhan, and İzzet Emre Afacan were promoted to Rear Admiral (lower half).
In the Air Force Command, Lieutenant General Erdoğan Gür was promoted to General, Major General Kemal Turan to Lieutenant General, and Brigadier General Cihangir Kemal Yüzçelik to Major General.
AIR FORCE COMMAND
In the Air Force Command, 18 colonels were promoted to Brigadier General.
Accordingly, Türker Altınışık, Şükrü Yılmaz, Metin Admaner, Baha Pakkan, Önder Can, Zeki Arslan, Akif Ersan Kıvılcım, Özlem Karapınar, Serkan Coşar, Alper Gezeravcı, Keskin Şenel, Taşkın Dakkur, Bora Çakıroğlu, Alper Gökdere, Sadık Tuncel, Fatih Pala, Ercan Bekmez, and Levent Ak were promoted to Brigadier General.
