A new development has occurred in the drug investigation targeting celebrities led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Koray Beşli, one of the suspects who tested positive for drugs, was re-arrested after correspondence and images related to girls under the age of 18 were found in his digital materials under review. It was learned that the Chief Prosecutor's Office has expanded the investigation, and it was reported that examinations of the digital content are ongoing.
A new development has occurred in the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting celebrities. Koray Beşli, whose drug test reportedly came back positive, was taken into custody again following new findings obtained from the examination of his digital materials.
WRITINGS AND IMAGES REGARDING GIRLS UNDER 18 YEARS OLD FOUND
It was stated that new data was reached during criminal examinations conducted on Beşli's digital materials within the scope of the investigation. According to the information obtained, it was alleged that writings and images regarding girls under 18 years old were found in the messaging records and digital content. It was learned that examinations regarding the scope and legal nature of the said content are ongoing.
TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AGAIN
Following the new findings obtained, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued a new detention decision for Koray Beşli. It was reported that Beşli, who was taken into custody by police teams, is undergoing procedures at the police department.
INVESTIGATION EXPANDING
It was learned that the prosecutor's office has also begun examining the individuals and connections mentioned in the correspondence within the digital materials. It is considered that detailed analyses of the digital content by forensic IT experts are continuing, and new suspects may be reached as a result of the examinations.
It was stated that the investigation is proceeding in a multi-faceted manner, the allegations in the file are still being evaluated within the scope of the investigation, and there is no finalized judicial decision regarding the suspects.
