Speaking on Haberler.com, Şahin argued that Israel's long-standing goal is Al-Aqsa Mosque, stating that this is the true intention behind the war.

Responding to questions from presenter Melis Yaşar on Haberler.com, Ali Şahin expressed that Netanyahu's statements are not just a political message but an expression of a deeper mentality. Şahin stated, "They induced this war to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque."
Şahin, who argued that the ongoing war is a result of this mindset, used the following expressions:
"With his statement, Netanyahu strengthened the Iranian regime and united the Iranian people. By declaring Israel as a common threat, he has united the Shia and Sunni worlds. Israel has an ancient dream of rebuilding the Temple of Solomon by destroying Al-Aqsa Mosque in its subconscious. This is not a result of this war. In fact, today's war is a result of that mindset. Today, neither Netanyahu nor the Zionist gang in Iran wants to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque to build the Temple of Solomon as a result of the Iran War. They induced this war to build the Temple of Solomon and destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque. I don't think this will be easy. Such a thought means mobilizing the entire Islamic world.
