Metin Sipahioğlu, who served on the board during Ali Koç's presidency at Fenerbahçe, made a statement on his social media account expressing his desire for the Congress to be held in June. Previously, former board member Metin Şen, who was also part of Ali Koç's administration, had invited Ali Koç to call for early elections.
This season, Fenerbahçe, which has not achieved the desired results in all the leagues it has competed in, saw President Ali Koç announce that he would go to elections in September due to increasing reactions, but the decision to hold elections did not prevent the protests. Recently, Ali Koç received bad news from Metin Sipahioğlu, who was part of his management in previous terms.
INVITED ALİ KOÇ TO EARLY ELECTION
Metin Sipahioğlu, a former member of Fenerbahçe's board of directors, made a post on his social media account. Sipahioğlu invited Ali Koç to go to elections in June for the good of Fenerbahçe.
In his statement, Metin Sipahioğlu said, "I think the congress in September is too late. The plans will be completed, and the league will have started. This is the discomfort in the community. According to the regulations, if the Management wants, we can hold a congress between June 7-14. Our congress should be in June; the community should see its future."
METİN ŞEN HAD ALSO MADE A STATEMENT
Metin Şen, a former board member who was part of the management during Ali Koç's first election as president, also made a statement expressing his desire for Ali Koç to hold the elections at an earlier date.
