In the 100th year of the Koç Group, Koçtaş, celebrating its 30th anniversary, held two openings on the same day. Koçtaş opened a logistics center on an area of 59,300 square meters in Düzce Gümüşova OIZ and also launched its new-generation store of 1,000 square meters in İstanbul Taşdelen. Ali Koç served as a salesclerk at the store.
On the 100th anniversary of the Koç Group and the 30th anniversary of Koçtaş, the company made two significant openings on the same day as part of its growth strategy. Koçtaş put a giant logistics center into service in Düzce Gümüşova OIZ and simultaneously opened its new-generation store supported by digital infrastructure in İstanbul Taşdelen.
ALİ KOÇ TOOK HIS PLACE AT THE COUNTER
After the openings, Ali Koç, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Koç Holding, put on his Koçtaş apron and stood behind the counter, closely attending to customers.

Speaking at the opening, Ali Y. Koç, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Koç Holding and Chairman of the Board of Koçtaş, emphasized the journey of the Koç Group that began in 1926 with a small grocery store. Stating that they have adopted the words of founder Vehbi Koç, "As long as my state and country exist, I exist," as their guide, Koç said:
"In this period when we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Koç Group and the 30th anniversary of Koçtaş, we will continue to work with the same determination and create value for our country. This strategic investment in Düzce will not only increase our operational strength; it will also make a great contribution to the regional economy, employment, and commercial activity."
