Alan Saint-Maximin, who wore the Fenerbahçe jersey in the years we left behind, has reached an agreement with MLS team Charlotte FC after his contract with Lens expired.
French winger Allan Saint-Maximin, who appeared for Fenerbahçe in recent seasons, is preparing to open a brand new chapter in his career. The star footballer, who most recently played for Ligue 1 side Lens and whose contract has expired, has largely determined his new destination.
AGREED WITH CHARLOTTE FC
According to Fabrizio Romano's report, Charlotte FC, a Major League Soccer (MLS) team, has secured Allan Saint-Maximin. It was stated that both parties have reached a mutual agreement.
COULDN'T STAY AFTER FENERBAHÇE
Saint-Maximin, who joined Fenerbahçe on loan from Al-Ahli in the 2024-2025 season and faced criticism for his performance in the yellow-navy jersey, transferred to Club America, one of Mexico's established clubs, after his Turkey stint. After failing to find what he was looking for in Mexico, the 29-year-old footballer returned to his country in the 2025-2026 season to sign with Lens, but kept his France adventure short and set his course for the USA.
SEASON PERFORMANCE
Saint-Maximin, who took the field for Lens in 13 matches this season, 4 of which as a starter, contributed to his team with 4 goals and 3 assists in these games.
