In Alanya, 18-year-old Taha Emirhan Kacıra caused chaos with a series of consecutive crimes. First, the suspect robbed a market, then stole a car containing a 10-year-old girl. While fleeing, he crashed into two vehicles and continued on foot, subsequently snatching a phone from someone on the street. After breaking a soldier's finger during his capture, he was neutralized by military police. The individual was arrested by the court and also received an administrative fine of 550,000 Turkish Lira.

In a single day in Alanya district of Antalya, Taha Emirhan Kacira (18), involved in a market robbery, carjacking with a child inside, traffic accident, and cell phone theft, broke the finger of the gendarmerie personnel who caught him. The suspect, apprehended after a chase, was arrested by the judicial authorities, and was also issued an administrative fine of 550 thousand lira.

ROBBED THE MARKET AND CARJACKED A VEHICLE WITH A CHILD INSIDE

The incident occurred yesterday around 13:30 in the Mahmutlar neighborhood of Alanya. Entering a market, Taha Emirhan Kacira forcibly took the money from the register and fled. 

Upon notification, Alanya District Gendarmerie Command's Gendarmerie Crime Investigation Team (JASAT) and Mahmutlar Gendarmerie Command units launched an extensive investigation. It was determined that the suspect, while fleeing, carjacked a vehicle with license plate 33 ACR 419, which was parked and running by the roadside, with a 10-year-old girl inside.

CAUSED AN ACCIDENT WHILE FLEEING, CONTINUED ROBBERY ON FOOT

The enraged suspect hit two vehicles while driving the stolen car on Ataturk Street. After the accident, Kacira abandoned the vehicle in the middle of the road and fled on foot, stealing a cell phone from a citizen named T.C. along the way. Gendarmerie patrol units in the area noticed the situation and began chasing the suspect.

ATTEMPTED TO TAKE THE GENDARMERIE'S GUN, BROKE HIS FINGER

After a short pursuit, Taha Emirhan Kacira was caught. He resisted the gendarmerie personnel trying to detain him and attempted to grab their gun. During the scuffle, a gendarmerie officer's finger was broken. The suspect was subdued with the intervention of additional gendarmerie forces and taken into custody. The 10-year-old girl in the carjacked vehicle was safely handed over to her relatives by the gendarmerie.

LEGAL ACTION TAKEN FOR 6 DIFFERENT CRIMES, 550 THOUSAND TL FINE IMPOSED 

Kacira, against whom legal proceedings were initiated for 6 different crimes, was also issued an administrative fine totaling 550 thousand lira by the gendarmerie traffic unit for endangering traffic safety and related regulatory violations. After processing at the station, Taha Emirhan Kacira was referred to the courthouse, arrested by the criminal judgeship of peace, and sent to prison.
