In Adana, Emrah K. was stabbed to death in an argument that broke out among 3 people who were drinking alcohol in the same house. The two suspects threw the knife out the window, stayed at the house for a while, then called 112 saying they were locked in. The suspects blamed each other and were arrested.
In a fight that broke out among 3 people who were drinking alcohol together in the same house in Adana, 33-year-old Emrah K. lost his life after being stabbed. It was learned that after the incident, the 2 suspects, who threw the knife out of the window, stayed in the house for a while longer, then called the 112 Emergency Call Center and said they were locked inside. The suspects, who were taken into custody, blamed each other for the murder in their statements.
The incident occurred on August 20 at around 03:00 in one of the central districts. According to the information obtained, Emrah K. (33) started arguing with his roommates Tamer İ. (21) and Mehmet S. (24) while they were drinking alcohol. The argument, which began with insults, quickly turned into a fight.
During the fight, Emrah K. was seriously injured by knife blows and collapsed onto the couch. It was claimed that Tamer İ. and Mehmet S. threw the knife used in the incident out of the window, then continued drinking alcohol and stayed in the house where Emrah K. remained covered in blood for a while longer.
Later, the suspects called the 112 Emergency Call Center, saying they were locked inside the house and could not find the key, and asked for help. Upon the report, police, health, and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the address. After the fire brigade teams broke down the door and entered the house, health teams determined that Emrah K. had lost his life.
KNIFE FOUND IN THE GARDEN
In the search conducted by police teams in the vicinity, a knife with blood stains was found in the garden of the apartment building. The knife, considered to have been used in the incident, was taken into custody, and Tamer İ. and Mehmet S. were taken into custody.
It was learned that in their statements at the police station, the suspects admitted to drinking alcohol together, claimed they did not remember why the argument started, and alleged that they did not stab Emrah K. It was stated that the suspects blamed each other for the murder.
After their procedures at the police station, Tamer İ. and Mehmet S. were referred to the courthouse and were arrested by the court they were brought before and sent to prison. The knife, considered to have been used in the incident, was sent to the Adana Criminal Police Laboratory for forensic examination.
