The 7th General President of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, attended the funeral of former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Cahit Karakaş, in the Parliament. After the ceremony, Kılıçdaroğlu left the Grand National Assembly without answering journalists' questions regarding whether he had any expectations from the case on September 15, how he evaluated the events at the Istanbul Provincial Presidency, and whether he was expecting a decision of absolute nullity.
All attention turned to former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu before the trial regarding the cancellation of the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress. In political circles, it is being discussed that a 'absolute nullity' decision could come from the hearing and that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu could be appointed as a trustee to the CHP Chairmanship.
ATTENDED THE FUNERAL
Kılıçdaroğlu, who did not respond to rumors about whether he would accept the position, was seen this time at the funeral of former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly, Cahit Karakaş. The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş, AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, Democratic Left Party Chairman Önder Aksakal, former Speakers of the Grand National Assembly, former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, and Karakaş's relatives and family.
TURNED HIS BACK AND LEFT
On the other hand, Kılıçdaroğlu, who did not answer questions directed at him after the ceremony, also ignored the questions from the press regarding the congress trial. Kılıçdaroğlu turned his back and walked away without making any statement to the cameras.
