AFAD ANNOUNCED THE MAGNITUDE

According to data from the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), a 2.9-magnitude tremor was recorded with its epicenter off the coast of Yalova. The earthquake occurred at 22:08 and its depth was determined to be 7.96 kilometers. 

The Kandilli Observatory also measured the earthquake's magnitude as 3.0.
