The incident occurred in the Unkapanı neighborhood of the İlkadım district in the morning hours. According to the information obtained, Bayram Karavin (81) was found by his relatives sitting on a chair in his kitchen, slumped over the table and covered in blood. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
DIED IN THE HOSPITAL
It was determined that Karavin was seriously injured by a bullet that entered the back right side of his head and exited the upper left part of his forehead. He was taken by ambulance to Samsun Training and Research Hospital. Despite all the interventions, the elderly man could not be saved. A firearm was seized at the scene.
The lifeless body of the elderly man was sent to the Samsun Group Presidency of the Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
