The new pitch infrastructure, worth approximately 44 million euros, established at Real Madrid's home Santiago Bernabéu, has transformed the field into a state-of-the-art system that can be retracted underground and provides high quality throughout the year.
Real Madrid's home, Santiago Bernabéu, stands out not only for its architecture but also for its ground infrastructure. Approximately 44 million euros were spent on the new generation ground system installed in the stadium.
STATE-OF-THE-ART INFRASTRUCTURE
In the renovated Bernabéu, an advanced rail and hydraulic system has been placed beneath the grass surface. With this system, the field surface can be divided into sections and pulled underground, allowing the stadium to be quickly transformed for different events.
Additionally, the ground is supported by special climate control, ventilation, and lighting technologies. This ensures that the quality of the grass is maintained at the highest level throughout the year.
MULTI-PURPOSE STADIUM MODEL
The 44 million euro investment highlights Real Madrid's strategy to use the stadium not only for football matches but also for concerts, events, and various organizations.
