An intern doctor was raped and murdered! Doctors in the country are on strike.

The lifeless body of a 32-year-old intern doctor was found in a hospital in India. Following the scandalous incident, the doctors went on strike and decided to indefinitely halt "non-emergency surgical operations".

Doctors in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and other cities in India have gone on strike to protest the rape and murder of a female intern.

According to NDTV, doctors in India started the strike after the lifeless body of a 32-year-old intern was found in a hospital in Kolkata on August 9. The doctors went on strike by indefinitely suspending non-emergency surgical operations and also demanded the security of healthcare workers. The doctors stated that they will continue their protests until the investigation is concluded.

HE USED TO COME TO THE HOSPITAL FREQUENTLY

Police announced that a suspect named Sanjoy Roy has been arrested in connection with the incident and that he was a frequent visitor to the hospital where the intern worked and where her lifeless body was found.
