A lawsuit has been filed seeking aggravated life imprisonment for F.A.E., who is alleged to have stabbed and killed his father, Hayrullah Eğin, after an argument in Kayseri. Captured on the roof of a business establishment after the incident, F.A.E. stated in his testimony that he remembers stabbing his father several times. "I learned my father died from my sibling. I am regretful," the defendant said, and it was reported that he had previously undergone treatment at a Psychiatric and Neurological Diseases Hospital four times.
The investigation into a family murder that occurred in Kayseri last year has been completed. A case has been filed against F.A.E., who allegedly stabbed his father Hayrullah Eğin to death, seeking an aggravated life sentence.
ARGUMENT ENDS BLOODILY
The incident took place on November 18 in the Erenköy neighborhood of Melikgazi district. According to the claim, an argument broke out between Hayrullah Eğin and his son F.A.E. for an unknown reason. During the argument, which escalated quickly, F.A.E. stabbed his father.
DIES AT THE HOSPITAL
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Seriously injured Hayrullah Eğin was taken to Erciyes University Medical Faculty Hospital after initial first aid. However, he could not be saved despite all medical intervention.
CAUGHT ON THE ROOF
Police launched an extensive operation for F.A.E., who fled after the murder. Teams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch Directorate Murder Bureau apprehended the suspect on the roof of a business in the Sanayi neighborhood of Kocasinan district. The suspect, taken into custody, was arrested by the court after police procedures.

The indictment prepared by the Kayseri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office included F.A.E.'s statement. In his statement, the suspect said, "I was in Syria for 3 years. I came to Kayseri by bus from Hatay. I arrived home and entered my father's room. My father was in bed. I don't remember if he was asleep or not. I remember striking him several times with a knife. Then I left the house and went to the State Hospital. I also don't remember my purpose for going. I climbed onto the roof of a nearby building. Police caught me there. I learned my father's death from my brother. I regret it."
AGGRAVATED LIFE SENTENCE SOUGHT
In the indictment accepted by the Kayseri Heavy Penal Court, an aggravated life sentence was sought for F.A.E. on charges of "Premeditated murder of a close relative" and "Concealing evidence of crime."
The file also noted that the suspect had previously received treatment at the Mental and Neurological Diseases Hospital on four different occasions.
WILL FACE THE JUDGE FOR THE FIRST TIME
It was learned that the arrested defendant F.A.E. will face the judge for the first time in the coming days.
