In Aksaray, 9 people, including 7 children, escaped death in a fire that broke out on the second floor of a two-story detached house. The fire started on the second floor of the two-story detached house where E.B., a foreign national, lived with his family in the Hasas neighborhood of the central district, due to sparks from a coal stove. 9 PEOPLE, INCLUDING 7 CHILDREN, WERE TRAPPED IN THE FLAMESAs the flames rising from one room quickly engulfed the entire apartment, the family inside the smoke-filled house tried to get the children outside. Before the mother and father could take the children out, 9 people, including 7 children, were affected by the thick smoke. Upon seeing the smoke, the neighborhood residents reported the situation, and police, medical, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams, who arrived at the scene shortly, provided first aid to the 9 people, including 7 children, affected by the smoke inside the ambulance. While the fire brigade intervened in the fire with a fire escape, the fire was completely extinguished after the flames were put out and intervention was made from inside the house. "THE STOVE EXPLODED SUDDENLY"While the police teams took extensive security measures at the scene and an investigation was initiated regarding the fire, a child describing the moment of the fire said, "My dad was giving my siblings a bath. The stove was on. It exploded suddenly." An investigation has been launched by the Aksaray Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the fire, which rendered the house completely unusable.
