The wave of price hikes on cigarettes that started in June has extended into August. All products in one cigarette group received a 10 lira increase. The retail price for all products in that group has been set at 110 lira. The new price list will take effect as of August 4th.
The increase in cigarette prices continues. The wave of price hikes that began in June has also carried into August.
ANOTHER PRICE HIKE FOR A CIGARETTE GROUP
Erol Dündar, President of the Turkish Tobacco Dealers Mutual Aid Association (TBYD), announced via a post on his social media account that the prices of a cigarette group have been updated once again.
ALL PRODUCTS EQUALIZED TO THE SAME AMOUNT
According to the newly shared price list, all products in the group received a 10 lira price increase. With the latest increase, the retail selling price of all products in the said cigarette group has been set at 110 lira. Thus, all products in the group will be offered for sale on shelves with the same price tag.
DATE ANNOUNCED
The new price tariff will be applied starting from August 4, 2026.
