The trout facility located by the river in Trabzon resembles a horror movie with its eerie witch figures and plastic sculptures placed in every corner. Arab tourists flocking to the facility from the Gulf countries are initially frightened, but then they smile and taste the local delicacies. The facility manager, Ömer Faruk Şahin, stated, "Some customers get scared when they suddenly see the witches, but then laughter follows. This place is interesting, but there's nothing to be afraid of; everyone should come, it's worth seeing."

The facility, established 33 years ago by the riverbank in the Özdil neighborhood of Yomra district in Trabzon, has recently attracted attention with its horror-themed decorations and antique items displayed in the establishment. Especially a popular spot for Arab tourists coming for vacation from Gulf countries, the facility creates a horror movie atmosphere for its visitors with creepy witch figures and plastic statues placed in every corner.

Customers and tourists visiting the facility, reminiscent of Halloween celebrations held in many countries around the world, are initially frightened when they see the moving witch figures in the water, but then they smile and taste local delicacies. Some visitors who come from outside the city out of curiosity also take photos in the witch-themed area.

"FIRST FEAR, THEN SMILES"

Ömer Faruk Şahin, an official of the facility, explained that the name of the restaurant is based on a story told for generations and that witches are referred to as "cazı" in the region. He said, "Our elders used to say, 'There is a cazı in the river' so that children wouldn't come here and be scared. Thus, the name 'Cazılar deresi' remained. My grandfather came from Germany and bought this place. Due to demand and density, this place has grown. Since the river is called 'Cazılar deresi', we decorated it with witches."

Children of the customers get scared, but they get used to it afterward. When they see these, they realize they are toys and figures. We receive great reactions, and we like it too. Some customers get scared when they suddenly see the witches, but then of course, smiles emerge. This place is a bit interesting, but there is nothing to be afraid of; people should come, it is a place worth seeing. Those who see it on social media come.
