The Legal Counsel of the Turkish Football Federation has referred Eyüpspor's head coach Arda Turan to the Professional Football Discipline Board on a precautionary basis due to his unsportsmanlike conduct during the match against Fenerbahçe, where he received a red card. The young coach was sent off for protesting against the referee following the yellow-and-blue team's goal.

In the 17th week of the Trendyol Super League, during the match against Fenerbahçe that ended in a 1-1 draw, Eyüpspor's Technical Director Arda Turan is facing punishment due to the red card he received for his protests against the referee after the yellow-blue team's goal.

REFERRED TO PFDK

The Legal Consultancy of the Turkish Football Federation has decided to refer Eyüpspor's Technical Director Arda Turan to the Professional Football Discipline Board (PFDK). In a statement made by the TFF, it was noted that Turan, who received a red card in the Eyüpspor-Fenerbahçe match played in the 17th week of the Trendyol Super League, was sent for disciplinary action due to unsportsmanlike conduct.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Fenerbahçe equalized with a goal at the end of the first half after falling behind 1-0 in the match. Kostic quickly dribbled the ball down the left wing and found En Nesyri at the penalty spot in the 45+4th minute. The Moroccan striker scored with a low shot using his left foot, leveling the score. As no goals were scored in the second half, the match ended with this score.

After En-Neysri's equalizing goal, Eyüpspor's technical director Arda Turan and the players protested that İrfan Can Kahveci had fouled Caner Erkin before the Moroccan forward's goal. The match referee Emre Kargın penalized Arda Turan with a red card due to his intense protests. The young coach had to watch the second half of the match from the stands.

“ARDA TURAN OLEY” CHANTS ROSE IN THE LOCKER ROOM

Meanwhile, Eyüpspor's players celebrated in the locker room after the match with great enthusiasm, chanting "Arda Turan oley, Arda Turan oley." The young coach, who received a red card, responded to his players' attitude by joining in the chants. The Istanbul representative shared these moments on their social media accounts with the note "Always louder! ARDA TURAN OLEY."
