HOSTILES RAINED BULLETS
The incident occurred in the evening hours at the Batman Asri Cemetery in the central Güneykent neighborhood. According to claims, suspects, with whom there was a previously unknown feud, opened fire with pistols on the family, who were visiting the cemetery. The attackers fled the scene, while health and police teams were dispatched upon a report. It was determined that Mehmet Direk, Ercan Direk, and Bekir Direk died at the scene under the control of the teams. The bodies were taken to the Batman Training and Research Hospital morgue for autopsy.
It was learned that A.G. (50) and M.E. (22), who were injured in the attack and taken to a private hospital by their relatives with their own means, are still receiving treatment. It was stated that A.G., one of the injured, is in critical condition.

Relatives of the individuals who came to the scene sang dirges in Kurdish. The bodies of the deceased father, son, and nephew were taken to the Batman Training and Research Hospital for autopsy.
