ORDERED TO RETALIATE
According to a statement from the Kremlin Palace, President Putin met with military officials in St. Petersburg, Russia, on the occasion of Russian Navy Day.
During the meeting, Russian Navy Commander Alexander Moiseyev and fleet commanders briefed Putin on the operational situation and the tasks being carried out.
In his speech, Putin ordered a response to attempts to seize Russian ships, stating, "Malicious individuals are making attempts to influence our fleet, including the commercial fleet. In such cases, piracy must be fought decisively but within the framework of international maritime law. I hope that efforts in this direction will be effective."
Emphasizing that Russia will respond to threats against the Kaliningrad region, Putin said, "The security of the Kaliningrad region will be ensured with all the means available to Russia."
"WE WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP THE RUSSIAN NAVY"
Noting that units of the Russian Navy are involved in the conflict in Ukraine, Putin said, "Marine infantry soldiers are always advancing and have liberated more than 20 settlements this year (in Ukraine)."
Vladimir Putin stated that they will continue to develop the Russian navy and equip ships with modern weapons, evaluating, "Our navy holds great importance in the nuclear triad."
"UKRAINE WILL LOSE TERRITORIES IN THE WEST"
Noting that the territories in the west were gifted to Ukraine by former Soviet leader Joseph Stalin, Putin said, "I am confident that Ukraine will sooner or later lose these territories. They belonged to Poland, Hungary, and Romania. Everything will historically fall into place today, tomorrow, or in a few years."
President Putin stated that "Russia was previously the sole guarantor of Ukraine's territorial integrity, but Kiev chose to consider Russia an enemy."
Expressing that they will do everything to achieve victory in the war in Ukraine, Putin noted that the "special military operation" will end sooner or later.
