CAME ON STOLEN MOTORCYCLE, PULLED THE TRIGGER REPEATEDLY
The incident occurred at noon in the parking lot on the lower floor of the Çiğli Municipality building. According to the information obtained, a 21-year-old individual named K.S. came to the municipal building parking lot on a stolen motorcycle. The suspect fired 3-4 shots with a pistol at the parked empty official car belonging to CHP member Çiğli Mayor Onur Emrah Yıldız.
CAUGHT WHILE TRYING TO ESCAPE
After the attack, the suspect K.S., who tried to flee the area, was immediately stopped by municipal security guards. Motorcycle police teams affiliated with the Public Order Branch Directorate, rapidly dispatched to the address upon the report, took the suspect into custody along with the weapon used in the crime.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, and the suspect K.S. was taken to the police station for his statement. A comprehensive investigation into the incident is ongoing.
