Amed Sportif Faaliyetler Technical Director Besnik Hasi and Football Branch Manager Nedim Şimşek announced at a meeting with press members that the club will make 3 more transfers. Şimşek, who complained to Fenerbahçe about transfers, said, 'We wanted to transfer 3-4 football players from Fenerbahçe, but unfortunately they did not give us any of them. They gave us a player we did not want.'

Amed Sportif Faaliyetler Technical Director Besnik Hasi and Football Branch Manager Nedim Şimşek met with the press before the away match against Kocaelispor.

''THE TRANSFER PROCESS WAS VERY DIFFICULT''

Amed Sportif Faaliyetler Football Branch Manager Nedim Şimşek described the preparation process in Erzurum and Burdur, stating that 17 transfers have been made so far. Şimşek said, "We have made a total of 17 transfers so far. We had a very difficult time during the transfer process. We built a new team. Since we didn't have a core from last year, building a team from scratch was really hard. We tried to build our squad in line with the report our coach gave. Yes, the transfer process was very difficult. Especially in a place like Diyarbakır, making transfers for a team newly promoted to the league was really hard. Because of Istanbul's conditions, all footballers in the world know Istanbul. They don't know Diyarbakır that well; it needs to be explained. We think we explained it as best we could."

''3 MORE REINFORCEMENTS WILL BE MADE''

Şimşek said 3 more transfers will be made. Şimşek stated, "Currently, we are considering bringing in a left center-back, a foreign quota forward, and a midfielder. There's a forward we've been in talks with for two months. We've agreed with his club. Regarding the left center-back, we are continuing our discussions between two players our coach has identified. We are not making transfers just for the sake of making transfers."

''FENERBAHÇE DIDN'T GIVE US ANY OF THEM''

Şimşek denied the claims in the press that Fenerbahçe executives are from Diyarbakır and support Amed Sportif Faaliyetler. On the contrary, Şimşek, who criticized Fenerbahçe regarding transfers, said, "Look, we wanted to transfer 3-4 footballers from Fenerbahçe, but unfortunately, they didn't give us any of them. They tried to give us players we didn't want. We will not bring in players to develop footballers for Fenerbahçe. Even though our foreign quota is full, they don't have the patience to wait. We asked for 3-4 footballers from Fenerbahçe, and they didn't give us any. There's a completely opposite perception in the public. As if Fenerbahçe would give us players; unfortunately, there's no such thing."

BESNIK HASI: ''I'M SATISFIED WITH THE TEAM''

Technical Director Besnik Hasi stated that they know the league is very tough. Hasi said, "Preparation is needed. You need to work very hard. Physical preparations are needed. The management did everything they could. When I agreed, they promised to bring me the right players, the players I wanted. They are doing it and trying to do it, managing it among themselves. Honestly, I can say I'm satisfied with the team right now. Of course, there is a lot of work to be done. We are aware of that. Good players should come so the team can improve further. In that sense, we will certainly have a need. We played the first match at home against Erzurum. It was very important. Winning was very important. The 3 points were very important for us. We really wanted it, and we won. I can say we made a good start. Of course, we are aware that this is just a beginning. It will be a long period. The league will last a very long time. Being prepared is very important in this regard. If we want to grow as a team, if we want to reach a good level, we need to go step by step."
