Kayserispor Club President Ali Çamlı made important statements about the club's financial situation and transfer activities. Stating that they made payments totaling 358 million TL in the approximately two and a half months since they took office, Çamlı also reacted to the comparison made between himself and Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç in the past.
''THE WHOLE OF TÜRKİYE SAW WHO WAS SUCCESSFUL''
Speaking about being compared to Ali Koç, Çamlı said, ''At one time, it was made a headline. On one side was Fenerbahçe's then-president Ali Koç, and on the other side, they put me. Saying, 'One side is managed by Ali Koç, who directs Türkiye's economy. The other side by Imam Ali Çamlı.' The whole of Türkiye saw which of us was successful.''
358 MILLION TL PAYMENT
Expressing his respect for Ali Koç, Çamlı emphasized that they have overcome a great financial burden at Kayserispor. Stating that when they took office, 19 footballers had termination fees, the president announced that they made a total payment of 358 million TL, including transfer ban payments and down payments for new transfers. Çamlı said, ''We closed the 100 files blocking transfers, saved a future that was in ruins, and brought it to a state where one can say, 'There is a Kayserispor'.''
TRANSFER STATUS
Sharing details about the transfers, Çamlı stated that they paid transfer fees for a total of 5 footballers from Amedspor, Bodrum FK, and Eyüpspor, and that they earned 125 thousand euros from the Cardoso transfer. He noted that Baran Ali Gezek went to Alanyaspor for 400 thousand euros plus VAT, and that the mutually terminated contracts of Onugkha, Bennasser, and Cardoso cost the club 3 million euros.
