KILLED BY A GUN IN THE WORKPLACE
The incident occurred in the afternoon at a workplace on the 4th floor of a plaza in the Meydan Mahallesi. A dispute arose between Sait Beştaş and A.B. and his son S.B. over a debt-collection issue. The escalating argument turned into a fight, and Sait Beştaş was shot with a gun. Following reports of gunfire, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
Beştaş, who was taken to Batman Training and Research Hospital by health teams, could not be saved despite all the doctors' interventions. Beştaş's lifeless body was taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
FATHER AND SON CAUGHT IN A SHORT TIME
With the efforts of the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch teams, the suspects A.B. and his son S.B., who fled after the incident, were quickly caught and detained along with the weapon used in the crime. While the suspects' procedures at the police station continue, an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
