A criminal organization for profit was dismantled in Diyarbakır. Of the 40 suspects detained in the operation, 15 were arrested and sent to prison. As a result of the efforts carried out by the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch Directorate to prevent criminal organizations for profit operating throughout Diyarbakır, the armed criminal organization for profit led by a person named A.E. was dismantled.
16 separate actions of the structure, which was taken under investigation on charges of establishing, managing, and being a member of an organization for committing crimes, were uncovered, and 40 individuals found to be involved in these actions were caught and detained in a simultaneous operation.
15 PEOPLE ARRESTED
During the operation, 21.4 kilograms of cannabis, 350.5 grams of skunk, 11 synthetic drugs, 3 pistols, and 5 magazines were also seized. After their procedures at the police station, 15 of the 40 suspects sent to the judicial authorities were arrested and sent to prison, while judicial control measures were decided for 24 of them. It was noted that the procedures for 1 individual are being followed up for completion.
