VIOLENCE IN THE COUNTRY IS INCREASING
Haiti, which has been struggling with issues such as political, economic, and security crises for years, is facing a famine threat with a population exceeding 11 million. In a country where armed gangs control 80% of the capital, incidents of violence are increasing. Due to the violence in the country, former Prime Minister Ariel Henry resigned in April 2024, and the established Temporary Council appointed Garry Conille as Prime Minister. The Council later appointed businessman Alix Didier Fils-Aime as Prime Minister, replacing Conille, who was dismissed on November 11, 2024.
