The calls made regarding the person who targeted women in headscarves, small children, and animals in his published video were answered. It was determined that the individual, who threatened to kill women in headscarves, sexually assault 2-year-old children, and harm animals, was 16-year-old M.F.Ç. The suspect, who tried to hide his identity by using a VPN and altering his voice, was taken into custody as a result of the technical work of the Cyber Crime units.
The threatening statements used by an individual in a video recording they published drew backlash. In the recording, the individual mentioned the upcoming two-month period and directly targeted women wearing headscarves and young children.
In the video, the individual threatened to kill women wearing headscarves and also threatened sexual assault against 2-year-old children. After the individual used severe profanity and insults throughout the recording, calls were made to the security forces.
"THIS IS A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT"
Citizens who shared the footage and addressed the authorities said, "We expect the Police to take action. This is a criminal complaint," requesting that the individual be identified as soon as possible.
In the posts, it was stated that the individual clearly targeted women and children, and it was demanded that the security forces take action.
CALL MADE TO MINISTER ÇİFTÇİ
Citizens also tagged Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi, calling for the identification of the individual in the video and their location.
Following the calls, a new development occurred regarding the incident. As a result of technical work carried out by the Cyber Crime units, the identity of the person who published the video was determined.
16-YEAR-OLD M.F.Ç. TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The person who said they would carry out attacks against Muslims, young girls, and cats was identified as 16-year-old M.F.Ç. The suspect was taken into custody after their identity was determined.
USED VPN AND CHANGED THEIR VOICE
It was stated that M.F.Ç. used a VPN and changed their voice to conceal their identity. Nevertheless, as a result of technical work carried out by the Cyber Crime units, the suspect's identity was determined.
It was reported that efforts continued after M.F.Ç. was taken into custody. It was stated that work had also been initiated to identify other individuals considered to be connected to the suspect.
