SHE TOOK TWO KNIVES OUT OF HER BAG
According to information given to police by eyewitnesses, after getting off the subway, Cisneros approached a 68-year-old man who was waiting with his wife to cross the street.
Cisneros took two knives out of a red bag and, after swinging them, stabbed the man in the abdomen. The injured man was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where his condition was reported as stable.
20 SECONDS LATER, SHE ATTACKED A WOMAN
Immediately after the first attack, Cisneros moved in the direction of 42nd Street. About 20 seconds later, she stabbed a 32-year-old woman in the abdomen as well.
The seriously injured woman was taken to Bellevue Hospital but succumbed to her injuries despite medical interventions. Police stated that both attacks were random and carried out without any provocation.
POLICE SURROUNDED HER
Following the reports, NYPD officers found Cisneros, who was holding two knives, near the police station in Times Square.
In footage from the incident, numerous police officers can be seen surrounding the woman. While the teams repeatedly warned her to drop the knives, Cisneros continued to stand there holding them.
THEY COULDN'T STOP HER WITH STUN GUNS
Police teams used stun guns in an attempt to neutralize the woman without using lethal force. However, the intervention was not enough to stop Cisneros.
In the footage, the woman can be seen advancing toward the officers while swinging the two knives, with the officers retreating. At that point, the officers fired their guns, shooting Cisneros.
