A landslide occurred at night at a construction site in the Uğur Mumcu Neighborhood of Sultangazi. Partial cracks formed on the street due to the slide, and teams closed the street with security tape. Entry and exit to the street were prohibited for safety reasons. The extent of the damage will be determined by work carried out in the morning.
A landslide occurred in an area known to be a housing complex construction site in Sultangazi, Istanbul. Following the landslide, partial cracking occurred on the street where the construction is located.
HEARTS RACED AT MIDNIGHT
The incident occurred around 01:30 on 2275th Street, Ugur Mumcu Neighborhood, Sultangazi. According to the information obtained, a landslide occurred for an unknown reason in the work area known to be a housing complex construction site. Due to the landslide, partial cracking was observed on the street where the construction is located.
ENTRY AND EXIT BANNED
Upon the notification, fire brigade and municipal police teams arrived at the scene. While no negative situation occurred due to the cracking and landslide, after the inspections, entry and exit to the street where the cracking occurred were closed with safety tape by the municipal police teams.
It was learned that the extent of the damage caused by the landslide on the street will become clear after the studies to be carried out in the morning hours.
