In an incident that took place in the Duki District of Pakistan's Balochistan province, 20 miners, including 4 Afghans, lost their lives when attackers gathered the miners at one point and opened fire on them. While the area was cordoned off for security, the injured were taken to nearby hospitals. THEY ATTACKED 10 MORE MINES IN THE VICINITYThe owner of the attacked coal mine, Haji Khairullah Nasir, stated that armed assailants also attacked at least 10 other coal mines in the vicinity and set fire to coal mining machinery. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, which has been launched for investigation. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who received information from officials regarding the incident, expressed that the government is determined to fight "every form of terrorism."
