A young drug addict, who previously set fire to a building's storage room in Antalya, attempted to set fire to a women's hair salon this time. Tangül Dinekli, who opened and watched the security cameras of her business, was shocked to see that her shop was being targeted for arson. The young woman, who saved her business at the last moment, struggled to overcome the trauma she experienced for a while.

A young drug addict, who previously set fire to a building's storage in Antalya and was saved at the last moment by his father, attempted to set fire to a women's hairdresser this time.

APARTMENT RESIDENTS NOTICED

The incident that shook a neighborhood occurred at the women's hairdresser business owned by Tangül Dinekli on 72nd Street in the Kızılsaray neighborhood of Muratpaşa district. İbrahim A., who is alleged to be a drug addict, placed clothes and some items at the door of the hairdresser and tried to set them on fire. Noticing the situation, the apartment residents called Dinekli to inform her.

Dinekli experienced the shock of her life when she connected to her business's security cameras through her phone and watched. Seeing İbrahim A. trying to set some clothes and items on fire at the door of her shop, the young woman called the 112 Emergency Call Center for help.

HE HIT A CITIZEN WHO CAME AFTER HIM ON THE HEAD

After the report, fire and police teams were dispatched to the area. As İbrahim A.'s attempt to set fire failed, no damage occurred in the shop, while neighborhood residents began searching for him. A breathtaking chase occurred between İbrahim A. and some apartment residents when he returned to the street where the shop was located. Finally, İbrahim A. hit a citizen who was chasing him on the head with a stick and escaped.

"HE HAD SET FIRE TO THE ADJACENT BUILDING BEFORE"

As the police teams arrived, the suspect disappeared from sight, while business owner Tangül Dinekli summarized her experience, saying, "My neighbors called because he was trying to enter the shop, and I opened the security cameras to watch. He backed off when a motorcycle came. Then he came back a second time and tried to set the shop on fire, so I called the fire department. He had set fire to the adjacent building and the other side before."

"WE SAY YOU'RE A YOUNG MAN, BUT HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND"

The citizen who was attacked with a stick said, "He has set our apartment on fire twice before. He stayed there for months. We say you're a young man, don't let your honor be hurt, but he doesn't understand," he expressed.

Meanwhile, İbrahim A.'s attempt to set fire to the workplace was captured moment by moment on security camera footage. The footage showed İbrahim A. throwing clothes and some items in front of the door, then igniting the clothes with a lighter, and the clothes that caught fire extinguishing themselves after a while.

HIS FATHER WAS OVERWHELMED WITH TEARS

About a month ago, İbrahim A. had set fire to a building's storage near the street where the incident occurred and was saved at the last moment by his father. İbrahim A. was taken into custody, while his father could not hold back his tears.
