Horrifying details emerged in the autopsy report of university student Ayşe Tokyaz, who was killed by former police officer Cemil Koç in Küçükçekmece and left by the roadside in a suitcase. Various types of cocaine and other narcotic substances were found in Tokyaz's body.

The trial regarding the murder of university student Ayşe Tokyaz, who was killed by former police officer Cemil Koç in Küçükçekmece and whose body was left in a suitcase by the roadside, has been adjourned to September 9.

The trial continued for the murder of 22-year-old university student Ayşe Tokyaz, who was killed by former police officer Cemil Koç on July 11 in Küçükçekmece and whose body was placed in a suitcase and left by the roadside in Eyüpsultan. At the hearing held at the Küçükçekmece 2nd Heavy Penal Court, the detained defendant Cemil Koç, along with some other detained defendants and 2 plaintiffs, were connected via the Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS). Four detained defendants, one non-detained defendant, plaintiff Esra Tokyaz, and the lawyers of the parties were also present in the courtroom.

HEARING ADJOURNED

The court panel, announcing its interim decision after the public prosecutor's opinion on the merits, ruled for the continuation of the defendants' detention and adjourned the hearing to September 9. The court is expected to announce its verdict in the next session.

In the indictment prepared by the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Ayşe Tokyaz was listed as the 'deceased', her twin sister Esra Tokyaz as the 'plaintiff', and 9 individuals, including suspect Cemil Koç (38), as 'suspects'.

The indictment stated that on the day of the incident, plaintiff Esra Tokyaz came to the Küçükçekmece Halkalı Police Station to give a statement, and in her statement, she had a video call with her sister Ayşe Tokyaz. During the call, her sister had bruises on her face and mouth, was covered in blood, and Ayşe told Esra that she had been assaulted by Cemil Koç. She shared her location with her sister. Esra Tokyaz went to the given address to see her sister, and Cemil Koç opened the door. Cemil Koç told Esra Tokyaz that her sister was not there. Subsequently, Esra Tokyaz searched for Ayşe Tokyaz for three days, and upon failing to find her, reported the situation to the police, filing a complaint against Cemil Koç for assaulting and detaining her sister.

"COCAINE DETECTED IN AYŞE TOKYAZ'S BODY"

The autopsy report prepared by the Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK) Istanbul Morgue Specialization Department was also included in the indictment. The report stated that various types of cocaine substances were found in Ayşe Tokyaz's body, and her gallbladder and urine contained narcotic or stimulant substances. It was determined that the death of the victim Ayşe Tokyaz, in whose body fluids stimulant metaloids were detected, occurred as a result of brain hemorrhage accompanied by a nasal bone fracture due to blunt head trauma. It was reported that she suffered brain hemorrhage, blood stains were found on her clothing, and there were findings of assault on her skull and lower lip.

DEMAND FOR AGGRAVATED LIFE IMPRISONMENT

In the prepared indictment, aggravated life imprisonment was sought for defendant Cemil Koç for the crime of 'premeditated murder of a woman with monstrous feelings and torture', and prison sentences ranging from 4 to 15 years for the crimes of 'depriving a person of liberty through force, threat, or deception' and 'blackmail'. For the other 7 detained defendants, prison sentences ranging from 15 to 20 years were sought for the crime of 'aiding in premeditated murder of a woman with monstrous feelings and torture'. Upon determining that Oğuz Kal participated in the crime committed by suspect Cemil Koç, aggravated life imprisonment was sought for the crime of 'participating in premeditated murder of a woman with monstrous feelings and torture', along with prison sentences ranging from 3 to 12 years for other offenses.
