Fenerbahçe under Aziz Yıldırım is preparing to drop another bombshell following the Vedat Muriqi transfer. It has been claimed that the yellow-navy club has reached a principle agreement with Borussia Dortmund's striker Serhou Guirassy and is expected to finalize the transfer shortly.
Following Aziz Yıldırım's re-election as president of Fenerbahçe, the transfer campaign has begun.
AGREEMENT REACHED WITH VEDAT MURIQI
The first transfer move of the new administration at the yellow-navy blues was Vedat Muriqi. It was learned that Aziz Yıldırım has reached an agreement with both the Kosovar striker and his club Mallorca.
A post made by Muriqi's wife further strengthened transfer rumors, and the transfer is expected to be officially confirmed shortly.
ANOTHER BOMBSHELL: GUIRASSY
Having nearly finalized the Vedat Muriqi transfer, Fenerbahçe has now moved for Serhou Guirassy, one of Europe's most in-form strikers. It is reported that the yellow-navy blues have already reached a preliminary agreement with the player's side and are continuing negotiations with Borussia Dortmund.
AZİZ YILDIRIM WANTS TO FINALIZE
President Aziz Yıldırım is said to want to conclude the Guirassy transfer shortly after Vedat Muriqi. It has been claimed that Borussia Dortmund is demanding approximately 35 million euros in transfer fees for the star player, and Fenerbahçe has made an offer very close to that amount.
ATTACK LINE BEING REBUILT
The moves for Vedat Muriqi and Serhou Guirassy have been interpreted as the Aziz Yıldırım administration's desire to build a strong attack line for the new season. If both transfers are completed, Fenerbahçe's forward rotation could become one of the most notable attack lines in Europe.
GUIRASSY'S 28-GOAL CONTRIBUTION
In the past season, the Guinean star played 46 matches for Borussia Dortmund, delivering a performance of 22 goals and 6 assists.
