Transfermarkt has updated the market values of players in Italy's Serie A. There has been a decrease in the value of Nicolo Zaniolo, who is on loan to Fiorentina from Galatasaray with a conditional purchase option. Following this development, a statement has emerged that will disappoint the yellow-reds regarding the future of the 25-year-old star with the Italian team.
Galatasaray loaned Nicolo Zaniolo, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Atalanta, to another Italian team, Fiorentina, with a conditional purchase option during the transfer window. Bad news has come from Zaniolo, from whom the yellow-reds expect a considerable transfer fee.
VALUE DECREASED
Transfermarkt updated the market values of players competing in Italy's Serie A. With this latest update, Nicolo Zaniolo has lost value. Zaniolo's market value has decreased by 2 million euros, dropping to 16 million euros.
"PURCHASING HIS TRANSFER FEE DOES NOT SEEM POSSIBLE"
Jatin Dietl, the Italy representative of Transfermarkt, made a striking prediction regarding Zaniolo's future in a statement about this decline. Dietl stated, "Zaniolo moved to Fiorentina during the transfer window because he did not meet expectations at Atalanta. However, he has not performed well here so far either. It does not seem likely that his transfer fee will be purchased at the end of the season."
GALATASARAY'S EXPECTATION IS 15 MILLION EUROS
Galatasaray expects to receive 15-16 million euros from the potential sale of Nicolo Zaniolo, who has played 6 matches in Fiorentina's jersey this season. The 25-year-old player has not contributed any goals or assists in these matches. The Italian star, who also spent the first half of the season on loan at Atalanta, scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists in 23 matches, of which he started in the first 11 only once. Zaniolo has a contract with Cimbom until 2027.
