Beşiktaş announced that Milot Rashica, who was injured while playing for the Kosovo National Team, has been diagnosed with a strain and swelling in the upper inner thigh muscle. The star player will be sidelined for 7-10 days, missing the matches against Konyaspor and Lyon. However, Rashica is expected to be fit in time for the Galatasaray derby.

The black-and-whites announced that strain and edema were detected in Rashica's upper inner thigh (adductor longus). The statement included the following;

"Our footballer Milot Rashica could not continue the game due to pain he felt in the inner part of his thigh during the match played by the Kosovo national team on October 15, 2024.

In the MRI imaging performed on Milot Rashica, strain and edema were detected in the upper inner thigh (adductor longus).

Our footballer Milot Rashica's treatment has been initiated by our medical team."

HOW LONG WILL HE BE AWAY FROM THE FIELDS?

The 28-year-old footballer will be away from the fields for 7-10 days due to this injury. Rashica will miss the Konyaspor match to be played this weekend in the 9th week of the Trendyol Super League and the match against Lyon in the UEFA Europa League next week. The Kosovar star is expected to take his place on the field in the derby against Galatasaray, which will be played away on October 28, if his coach gives him the chance.
