In his evaluations regarding the war in the Middle East that began with the attacks of the USA and Israel on Iran, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli stated, "Ankara and Tehran's horizons look in the same direction. Ankara, Baghdad, and Damascus share a common fate with Jerusalem and Gaza. The sorrow of our first qibla, Al-Aqsa Mosque, which has been kept closed for fifteen days, is a heartache for all of us, for everyone who calls themselves a Muslim. This oppression must come to an end."
The Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Devlet Bahçeli, made evaluations regarding the war in the Middle East that began with the attacks of the USA and Israel on Iran.
In a written statement he made via social media, Bahçeli included the following remarks:
"THE CIVILIZATION HERITAGE, WHICH HAS BEEN DAMAGED FROM EVERY SIDE, HAS HOSTAGE THE SOVEREIGNTY RIGHTS OF OUR RELIGIOUS BROTHERS IN PARTICULAR AND OF ISLAMIC COUNTRIES IN GENERAL"
On one hand, as we approach the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the sultan of eleven months, on the other hand, we are experiencing the bittersweet spiritual beauty of being honored with the Night of Qadr, which is proclaimed in the Quran to be better than a thousand months.
We are bitter because the peace and tranquility of the month of Ramadan have unfortunately been violated from every front, and the ongoing high-tone violence of war and conflicts has severely battered and wounded the Islamic world.
Unfortunately, the deep cracks in the spirit of unity, solidarity, and harmony that we hoped and desired to manifest in a manner suitable to our measures of faith and belief have gradually led to many problems.
While we should be experiencing a Ramadan month enveloped in tranquility and peace; the flying missiles, targeted innocent people, strategic infrastructures subjected to destruction, and continuously escalating geopolitical tensions have taken hostage the civilization heritage, which has been damaged from every side, particularly our religious brothers, and in general, the sovereignty rights of Islamic countries.
"AS LONG AS THE SEEDS OF DISCORD FLOURISH AMONG US, IT MUST BE REMEMBERED THAT ALL KINDS OF AGGRESSIVE INTERVENTIONS FROM OUTSIDE WILL BE MADE"
Until dawn breaks, we must sincerely and honestly question why pain, genocide, and wars have taken root in the Islamic geography during our Night of Qadr, in which we believe that peace will prevail, and we must activate a moral and consistent self-criticism mechanism.
As long as we are disorganized internally, and as long as the seeds of discord flourish among us, it must be remembered that all kinds of aggressive interventions from outside will be made.
The continuous shedding of Muslim blood by the Zionist-imperialist war and murder machine, along with its transformation of the Islamic geography into a battlefield of war and conflict, is not only a mercilessly destructive vicious cycle but also an intolerable example of unilateral tyranny.
At this stage we have reached, it is very clear that if we do not defend our freedom of belief and our historical rights arising from being human, our existence and vital interests will be gradually trampled upon.
"THE HORIZON OF ANKARA AND TEHRAN LOOKS IN THE SAME DIRECTION"
The horizon of Ankara and Tehran looks in the same direction. The fate of Ankara with Baghdad and Damascus, and of Jerusalem with Gaza, converges on the same common ground.
The sorrow of our first qibla, Al-Aqsa Mosque, which has been kept closed for fifteen days, is a heartache for all of us, for everyone who calls themselves a Muslim.
This oppression must come to an end.
My wish is to gather and unite without falling into the dark corridors of Zionist-imperialist plots, and to disperse the nightmare clouds that obscure our vision with the dignity and honor of our faith.
On this Night of Qadr, which I hope to fulfill its value and significance, it is a historical responsibility to turn to ourselves, identify where the mistakes were made, where the shortcomings were given, and where the weaknesses manifested, and to take appropriate measures in accordance with this, accompanied by a clean conscience.
I congratulate the blessed Night of Qadr of the esteemed Turkish nation, the Turkish-Islamic world, and all our esteemed citizens living both at home and abroad, and I sincerely wish for us to meet in the crucible of our prayers and common goals.
May our Night of Qadr be blessed.
I pray that Allah may be the helper of the Turkish nation and our brothers who are struggling for a dignified life in our heart and cultural geographies."
